Collagraph is a deceptively simple printmaking process that allows incredibly sophisticated images to be created.
Over the two days participants will investigate simple everyday materials to produce a textured plate which will print with a wide variety of tone and line. You will spend the first day creating a number of unique printing plates which will be printed on day two. The plate is printed using an etching press and can be printed intaglio, relief or both.
This class is suitable for Beginners/Refreshers.
