Blue Velvet Burlesque take over An Seòmar on Sunday 4 October — the closing night of the first Inverness Fringe Festival.
This is the troupe that brought burlesque to the Highlands: Inverness rooms, Pride nights, Halloween spectaculars, and the darker “metalesque” bills. Classic tease and cabaret. Comedy and kink. Rhinestones, feathers, leather, latex. Inclusive, unapologetic, and built for a live crowd.
An Seòmar on Church Street is a tight, loud room with a proper PA and a late-night bar. Blue Velvet turn it into a sanctuary of glitz and grit — local and touring performers, high-energy acts, and the kind of show that finishes a festival week the way it should: dressed up, slightly dangerous, and not quite ready to go home.
