An Seòmar on Church Street is Inverness’s newest live room — tight, loud, and built for original music. During the first Inverness Fringe Festival it gets taken over by three acts who actually come from the north: Danny Mortimer from Moray, The Tuesday Accord, and Dougie Burns and The Cadillac Sidecar. Same space. Same night. No touring package from elsewhere. This is the Highlands playing its own city.
Danny Mortimer comes down from Elgin with the kind of melodic guitar rock that fills rooms and radio playlists. Heartfelt lyrics, big choruses, Jimmy Eat World DNA. Solo or with a full live band, he has already taken that sound from Moray stages to Belladrum, the Ironworks, and headline rooms across Scotland. A Fringe night in Inverness is bringing all the craic with the volume turned up.
The Tuesday Accord are Inverness favourites — melodic, sharp, and energetic indie pop that already works the city’s rooms and markets. Intelligent songs, live heat, and the kind of local following that turns a cheeky gig into a proper night out.
Dougie Burns and The Cadillac Sidecar bring the rock ’n’ roll engine. Full-band swagger or stripped-back originals, Cadillac choruses, and the same Highland circuit energy that has already put them on stages like Belladrum. Road songs, holiday anthems, and a live show that wants the floor moving.
